I am a multimedia artist based in the UK with a diverse background in documentary filmmaking, comics, animation, illustration and content creation. I’ve self-published comics, produced animated films, and created visual stories across platforms.
Currently working on my next short film and, my current film "Desk to Dance," is in the festival circuit.
Also developing my skills in 3D modeling, 2D rigging & cut out and traditional animation in Toon boom and Moho. Working on advancing my own production pipeline to create more work quickly and efficiently.
Happy to collaborate, particularly with other indie creators. I'm not a "put my eggs in one basket" sort of person, I'm flexible, open minded and not afraid to fail.
I have strong illustration skills. Artist and writer of the socio-political graphic novel: "Stampede: Jessica's Story." Which has been sold in various conventions in London and is available on Amazon. A graphic novel about social inequality and youth violence. Have also had work displayed in exhibitions previously.
Proven experience of working well in teams to meet deadlines successfully in the arts and various other sectors such as healthcare and sports.
Notable group projects:
The Tea Book (2013): Contributed an illustration to The Tea Book, a collection of tea-themed illustrations by various UK illustrators.
Breaking the Chains Exhibition (2014): Displayed illustrations focused on raising awareness of human trafficking at a large exhibition held in a church. Welcomed visitors at the front desk and provided information about the exhibition.
The Ghizbo Collective (2019): People, Places and Things (2019): Participated in an art exhibition featuring work from eight artists, including myself, at the Shortwave Café in London. Assisted with event setup, website creation, and marketing. The private viewing attracted over 40 visitors on the first night.
